What I Learned After a Week Without Social Media

I deleted Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok for one week just to see what would happen.

Here’s what I learned:

I Was Grabbing My Phone 100x a Day

Muscle memory. I’d open my phone without thinking. Even in the bathroom. Wild.

 My Brain Got Quieter

Without constant scrolling, my thoughts felt... slower. In a good way. I wasn’t comparing myself every 2 minutes. Felt peaceful.

 I Slept Way Better

No blue light at night. No doom scrolling. I fell asleep faster and woke up less tired.

 I Got So Much Done

With no distractions, I cleaned my room, wrote blog posts (hi ๐Ÿ‘‹), and even read a book for fun. Who am I?

Final Thoughts

Social media isn’t evil — but breaks are powerful. I came back feeling more in control.

If you’ve never tried a mini detox, I 10/10 recommend it.
